- I lived in South America from age 1 to 8. I’m a MK (Missionary Kid) and a PK (Pastor’s Kid).
- During college I didn’t fly home for the summer. Instead, I got jobs as a disc jockey working 7 days a week at two (sometimes three) Top 40 radio stations.
- My favorite car I’ve ever owned was my 1969 Mustang.
- I love radio. I’ve worked as a Program Director, Morning Host, Disc Jockey and Sales at 11 stations in Los Angeles, Miami, Long Island, Jacksonville and upstate New York.
- I just turned 60 and in October my incredible wife is taking me to hit the little white ball at Pebble Beach – a lifelong dream!

- I wasn’t given a middle name at birth.
- I was 18 years old when I first saw snow.
- I became a flight attendant for the first time at the age of 45. Went on to become an instructor in the training center for Delta Air Lines.
- I had the honor of being host to Vice-President George Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush when he was the commencement speaker at my alma mater, Furman University, in 1983.
- I lived in Europe for a year and can read and understand, not speak, French!

- I lived and completed my Masters degree in Edinburgh, Scotland for a whole year.
- Last year I biked a total of 3,000 miles.
- I have climbed 6 mountains over 14,000 feet.
- I have hiked to the tallest mountain in Ireland.

- I can fit 5 ice cubes in my mouth and I love eating ice cubes more than treats.
- My best trick is shaking and if you tell me to sit I automatically shake.
- I will do anything for kibble!
- My favorite toy is my stuffed llama that I have had since I was 7 weeks old.
